Dave Debuts at Crimefest
May 2023 saw Dave make his first appearance at the international crime writing festival, Crimefest, in Bristol, as part of the 'Indie Alternative' panel, discussing books and Indie (self-published) authorship with other Indie authors.
Dave said 'I was delighted to be part of one of the biggest crime writing festivals in the world, and one where, just over a decade ago, I was sitting in the audience and first conceived the characters of Lizzie Archer and Dan Baines.'
In Ice Blog Tour
The 'blog tour for In Ice takes place from 16 to 22 January 2023. Arranged by Heather Fitt of Overview Media, the blog will take in honest reviews of the new DI Nathan Quarrel by fourteen book bloggers. DI Nathan Quarrel book 2, In Ice - a terrifying, twisty serial killer chiller - was published on Thursday 8 December 2022 in paperback and Kindle ebook.
It's Dave's eleventh title, and his eighth contemporary crime novel, which starts with a horrific discovery in a secluded house in a small Hertfordshire village: three chest freezers containing the naked bodies of five women. As DI Quarrel and his team race to unmask the killer before he claims another victim, Quarrel himself is also haunted by a cold case from his own past.
