Thursday 16 April 2026 saw Dave Collect his certificate for first prize (shared with Tony Flower) in Chiltern Writers annual short story competition with his story The Three Hundredth. Looking like something out of 'The Usual Suspects', here's Dave, Tony and fellow prizewinner Steve Wright.

Dave at Chilterns Crime Quarterly

Saturday 14 September 2025 saw Dave taking part in a hugely enjoyable 'Chilterns Crime Quarterly' event at Chalfont St Peter Library, along with (left to right) Morgen Bailey, SJ Bennett, Denise Beddows, MJ Arlidge and Steph Broadribb. The afternoon was well attended by local crime fiction enthusiasts!
